A Panopto video is stuck “Processing”

You can “reset” the video by forcing it to re-process. Note that instructors do not have the proper permissions to “reset” the video, only administrators.

  1. Open the course’s Panopto page using your admin login
  2. Hover over the video that you want to force re-process
  3. Click the “Settings” button and navigate to the Manage tab.
  4. Scroll to the bottom and clicked “Re-Process”
  5. In the pop-up window, select “OK”

The video should re-process and work correctly now (fingers crossed).
