Calculated grade items ignore D2L grade category settings that drop highest or lowest scored items. So, calculated grade items will total a score based on all of the grade items (even if that’s not what you intended).
This issue occurs regardless of whether you choose Milestone grade calculation or Final grade calculation in the calculated grade item’s settings.
