If you or a student are unable to download all Content modules through the Table of Contents, it is due to a too long file, link, or Content module name. When a file, link, or module name is too long, you will receive a failed error message when attempting to download all course contents via the Table of Contents.
File names must be 260 characters or less and directory names must be 248 or less. The best practice is to keep file names two or three words whenever possible. For more information about the Content area of D2L, please see our Content guide.
