If you’d like help using D2L, you can work with Faculty Instructional Technology Services (FITS). There are a few options for receiving assistance:
- Complete D2L Essentials. D2L Essentials is a set of self-paced tutorials that cover D2L basics. The tutorials are a great introduction for beginners, and great refresher for returning faculty. You can read more about D2L Essentials, and register to receive FITS-approved verification of completion, in the D2L Essentials section of the Teaching Commons website.
- Read the D2L user guides. You can find D2L guides on the Teaching Commons website.
- Make an appointment. You can schedule a one-on-one appointment with a member of the FITS staff to receive D2L training. We use an online appointment system for scheduling appointments, and offer face-to-face appointments at DePaul’s Lincoln Park and Loop campuses, and virtual appointments. The appointment scheduler is found here: go.depaul.edu/FITSCentral.
- Send an email. You can email your documents, questions or simple requests to FITS@depaul.edu. This inbox is monitored M-F, 9-5 except during University holidays when the University is closed.
