Group Discussion Setup and Management
Group Discussions will now display all groups’ threads in a single pane, allowing an instructor to quickly read and respond to all groups’ comments from a single forum. A note will appear within the thread to indicate which group those users are assigned to.
This also allows group-based discussions to be linked to a grade item very quickly and easily.
Instructors will also have the option to post a discussion thread to all groups within a forum at once with a single update. It will also be possible for an instructor to post a new thread to all forum sections of a particular course. This prevents the need to enter each group and copy and paste the same text to each group, or to copy a forum thread between two sections of the same course number.
