Conversations
Digication would like to provide quick update regarding the Conversations feature. Recently, they’ve become aware of some issues that can occur when multiple users simultaneously utilize the tool in a single ePortfolio.
If two or more users are simultaneously utilizing the Conversations tool in a single ePortfolio, one of the following may occur:
- Text selected for an inline comment may be deselected before the comment can be completed.
- Your comment may go straight to “archived.”
If either of these instances occur while you are using the Conversations tool, please wait a few minutes and then try again to submit your comment. You can delete any improperly archived comments using the trashcan icon on the Conversations panel.
Digication is currently working on a fix for these issues. If they continue to occur after repeated attempts, please feel free to contact support@digication.com
Change to File Upload / Take Picture / Record Video / Record Audio
Digication has implemented an upgrade to the file management system, which has resulted in some minor changes to a few of the modules. Digication was forced to make this upgrade due to unforeseen issues with our Take Picture module.
This upgrade has affected the following modules:
- File Upload
- Take Picture
- Record Video
- Record Audio
When using these tools, you may notice some slight changes to the buttons and controls, though they will generally function the same. The Take Picture module now contains additional editing options, which are documented here:

Documentation for the remaining modules will be updated in the coming days to reflect these changes. Digication appreciates your patience while this documentation is updated!
