Why can’t I see navigation buttons when viewing D2L Content items?

In order to view and use the navigation buttons in the Content area of a D2L course, “Show navigation in the Content viewer” must be selected within Content settings:

  1. Navigate to the Content area of the course.
  2. Click the Settings gear icon in the upper right corner.
  3. Select “Show navigation in the Content viewer.” 
  4. Click Save.
