How can I see which students completed an anonymous D2L survey?

If you have a survey set to “anonymous,” D2L does not report who made what response. Once this option is selected, it is not reversible.

However, if an instructor wants to see which students completed the survey to give them credit for completing it, here’s how they can identify those students:

  1. Go to Table of Contents in the Content area.
  2. Click the Related Tools button, then select View Reports from the dropdown menu.
  3. Click the number in the Users Visited column to the right of the survey’s name. A list of students who visited the topic, and the amount of time they spent there will be displayed.
