Instructors with the appropriate permissions can change the homepage banner image titles. The default is the course name – Org Unit Name – (as it comes over from Campus Connect). Instructors can also choose to create a custom value (such as Hello {FirstName}) (click the “what replace strings can I use?” link to see all the custom options) or can choose none to remove the title and have only an image appear.
To edit the image title, hover over the upper right-hand corner of the image and click on the ellipses when they appear. Choose Customize Banner Text
