The new Text Submission type allows students to compose a short text document, using the rich text editor, directly in the Submission Folder. This eliminates the need to attach a file for short written assignments. If you choose this option, students will not be able to submit an attachment. Submission folders can either require an attachment or be a text only submission. Existing submission folders that require an attachment cannot be converted they will need to be recreated.
